Questions and Answers (FAQs)

In my work, it is important to me that you feel well informed, safe, and understood. Many patients have similar questions — about treatment, TCM, the course of care, or the combination of conventional and complementary medical approaches.

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions — explained clearly, honestly, and holistically. Because for me, medical care begins with an open ear — and with creating space for everything that matters to you.

FAQs

I work as a private physician. This means that you will receive an invoice from me, which you can submit to your statutory health insurance provider. Depending on your insurance company and the service provided, part of the costs will be reimbursed. I am happy to support you with the submission process.
The costs depend on the type and scope of the services you require. As my work draws on several medical disciplines — Internal Medicine, Hematology, Oncology, TCM, and Acupuncture — each consultation is tailored individually. I am happy to discuss the expected costs with you in advance, either personally or by phone.
Yes. You can submit the invoice to your statutory health insurance provider. Reimbursement is provided on a proportional basis — depending on which services were rendered and the tariff applied by your insurance fund. I am happy to assist you with any questions regarding this process.
Yes, I do accept new patients. As many of my existing patients become symptom-free through my holistic approach and do not require ongoing treatment, treatment capacities regularly become available. Please feel free to contact me by phone or email to arrange an initial appointment.
Appointments can be arranged by phone or by email. I strive to offer timely appointments, especially in cases of acute symptoms or emotionally challenging situations, such as when there is suspicion of a serious illness. Evening appointments or short-notice slots are also possible by arrangement.
As a rule, no. Punctuality is very important to me — out of respect for your time. Should there be an occasional delay (for example due to an acute emergency), I will inform you in good time.
Yes, absolutely. I deliberately combine these two medical approaches — always tailored to your individual situation. TCM does not replace any necessary conventional medical treatment, but it can be a very effective complementary and supportive therapy.
Many people think that TCM is a complete alternative to conventional medicine — that is not my approach. My medical responsibility is to explain to you very clearly which form of medicine is appropriate and meaningful for your particular symptoms.
