Breast cancer:
When life suddenly comes to a standstill.
For many women, a diagnosis of breast cancer comes as a shock. It turns everyday life upside down — physically, emotionally, and socially. In this sensitive situation, it is very important to me to support my patients not only with the highest level of medical expertise, but also with time, empathy, and understanding. I see my role as providing you with reassurance, explaining all necessary steps in a clear and comprehensible way, and working together with you to develop an individual, sustainable treatment concept.

Holistic care from the very beginning
Holistic care from the very beginning
As a specialist in Internal Medicine with a focus on Oncology and Hematology, I accompany patients from the first suspicion through treatment and into follow-up care. I take sufficient time to discuss diagnoses and treatment options with you calmly and thoroughly — and to take your concerns, fears, and uncertainties seriously. If desired, I also offer the option of a well-founded second opinion.

State-of-the-art therapy options – individually tailored
Today, breast cancer is very well treatable in the vast majority of cases. Treatment is based on the exact tumour type, hormonal status, stage of the disease, the patient’s age, and overall state of health. The key components of treatment include:
- Surgery to remove the tumour
- Radiotherapy to prevent recurrence
- Chemotherapy to combat disseminated cancer cells
- Antihormonal therapy if the tumour is hormone-dependent
- Targeted or immunological therapies, depending on tumour biology
Treatment decisions are now always made within a tumour board (tumour board meeting) — an interdisciplinary conference in which specialists from different medical fields jointly develop the optimal treatment plan. I am very familiar with these structures and ensure that my patients are optimally informed and involved throughout the process.
Additionally: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Additionally: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Many patients greatly appreciate that, in addition to conventional medical treatment, I also offer elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), such as:
- Acupuncture to alleviate side effects such as nausea, sleep disturbances, or inner restlessness
- Herbal therapy to strengthen the body in cases of fatigue, hot flushes, or joint discomfort
- TCM-based nutritional counselling, adapted to the respective phase of the disease
TCM does not replace any medically necessary therapy — but it can help support physical and emotional balance.

Human support:
personal and reliable
I know that breast cancer does not affect only the body, but one’s entire life. That is why close and continuous support is particularly important to me — not only during treatment, but also in the period afterwards. As a physician, I want to be there for you as a patient — with medical expertise, experience, and genuine care.
If desired, I can arrange contact with experienced psycho-oncologists or cancer support services. I am also available to assist with social-medical or organisational matters (e.g. rehabilitation, work, family).
