Acupuncture:
gentle impulses – powerful effects.
Acupuncture is a healing method from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that is thousands of years old and which I apply in my practice with conviction and many years of experience. It is based on the understanding that vital energy (“Qi”) flows through the body along specific pathways known as meridians. When this flow of energy becomes imbalanced, symptoms and illnesses can develop. By placing fine needles at defined points along these meridians, blockages can be released, energy regulated, and the body’s self-healing capacities activated — often in a remarkably simple and effective way.

Which forms of acupuncture do I offer?
Which forms of acupuncture do I offer?
I work with different acupuncture methods, depending on the condition being treated and the individual constitution:
- Body acupuncture – the classical form
- Ear acupuncture – particularly effective for stress, addiction treatment, and pain
- Laser acupuncture – a gentle, needle-free and virtually painless option, e.g. for patients with needle anxiety
- Permanent acupuncture needles – for a prolonged therapeutic effect between treatment sessions
How does an acupuncture treatment work?
How does an acupuncture treatment work?
After a detailed initial consultation, I develop an individual treatment plan tailored to you. A session usually lasts between 20 and 40 minutes. Most patients find the treatment very relaxing — many even report falling asleep during the session or experiencing a pleasant sense of inner calm.
The number of sessions required depends on the type, duration, and intensity of the symptoms. After just a few treatments, it is usually possible to assess how well your body responds to acupuncture.
Are there any side effects or contraindications?
Are there any side effects or contraindications?
Acupuncture is a very well-tolerated method with few side effects. The only true contraindication is a pronounced fear of needles — in this case, I am happy to use laser acupuncture instead, which is completely painless.
