Who I am
and why I do what I do
Who I am
and why I do what I do
Even as a child, I knew: I wanted to become a doctor. In my family, people worked in medical professions with great enthusiasm — marked by commitment, high professional standards, and genuine compassion. That passion inspired me from an early age.
Today, I practise medicine with great joy and conviction — as a specialist in Internal Medicine, Haematology and Oncology, with additional qualifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. And I truly love what I do.

My professional journey
I had the great privilege of completing my medical training at Vienna University Hospital, under highly respected professors who are internationally recognised within the scientific community. This period was academically demanding and deeply formative. It sharpened my medical thinking and my commitment to precision in diagnostics.
I was also particularly inspired by my work at the pain clinic of the Charité in Berlin — one of the largest of its kind in Germany. There, I experienced first-hand how effective acupuncture can be for patients suffering from pain. This proved to be a turning point for me: I began to engage deeply with Traditional Chinese Medicine and pursued this training consistently — ultimately completing a Master’s degree.

What shaped me – including the difficult experiences
Alongside all the professional fascination, there were also experiences that shaped me on a human level — for example, the long waiting times in hospital outpatient clinics, where ill people often have to wait for hours. I have always found this undignified — and that is precisely why it is so important to me today to offer my patients punctual appointments, respectful treatment, and personal time.
