Two paths, one goal:
Your stability during cancer treatment.
In the treatment of cancer, modern conventional medicine is indispensable. At the same time, based on my many years of experience, I know how much patients can benefit from additional holistic approaches during this challenging phase. For this reason, whenever it is medically appropriate and desired, I combine conventional cancer therapies with methods from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In my practice, this combination is not only possible, but carefully considered and professionally grounded.

TCM as supportive care
TCM as supportive care
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) does not replace any necessary surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or antihormonal treatment. However, it can be highly effective in strengthening the body, alleviating side effects, and stabilising emotional balance. Many of my patients experience this form of support as relieving, empowering, and deeply valuable.
In particular, I offer the following TCM methods:
- Acupuncture – for relaxation; to reduce nausea, sleep disturbances, nervousness, hot flushes, or pain
- Chinese herbal therapy – to support strength in cases of exhaustion, to alleviate joint discomfort, or to regulate hormonal imbalance
- TCM diagnostics – such as tongue and pulse analysis, to develop individually tailored recommendations

TCM: Particularly helpful for therapy-related side effects
Especially in breast cancer patients receiving antihormonal therapy, TCM can help alleviate side effects such as hot flushes, sweating, insomnia, or joint pain. I have also had very positive experiences with complementary acupuncture in cases of chemotherapy-related fatigue or nausea.
As an oncologist, I am of course very familiar with your conventional medical treatment — and I am able to assess where TCM can be used as a meaningful supportive measure without risking negative interactions.
Your safety comes first
Your safety comes first
Because I am trained both in oncology and in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), you benefit from continuous, professionally sound care. You do not have to choose between two medical worlds — I combine both into a coherent, individual treatment concept.
Many of my patients tell me that this gives them a sense of security — because they know that nothing is overlooked and that conventional medical treatment standards are, of course, fully adhered to.
Many patients also report that complementary TCM helps them feel more centred, sleep better, recover more quickly, or go through therapy with greater inner calm.
I see my role as accompanying you during this phase not only medically, but also humanly and holistically — with everything that supports your well-being.
